Who We Are
The Spoken Language is a South African English teacher supply agency. We recruit, vet, coach, and place qualified English teachers with established international online teaching platforms that already have adult and teen student bases.
We do not run classes. We do not recruit students. We supply teachers, and we do it properly.
Our Mission
South Africa produces excellent English teachers: qualified, articulate, professionally minded people who often do not have a direct route to international online platforms. At the same time, platforms struggle to find teachers who arrive ready, credentialed, briefed, and professional from day one.
We bridge that gap. We make it easier for South African teachers to access global opportunities, and easier for platforms to trust the teachers they receive.
Our Standards
Every teacher we place has been personally interviewed, credential-checked, and coached through our onboarding programme before we submit a single application on their behalf. We do not send CVs. We send prepared professionals.
The Team
We are a small, founder-led operation, intentionally so. Every application is reviewed personally. Every platform relationship is managed directly. We are not a marketplace or a database. We are an agency that takes responsibility for the teachers we recommend.
